Leica (Leitz), Germany. 8x40B Wetzlar Trinovid binoculars with a 128m/1000m field of view; serial no. 844163. With original carrying case. With great optics and only some wear to the paint. Production years: 1969-1986 Condition: Used; Great  optics. Wear to dial, some paint loss on edfes, dents, and heavy wear to both end frames. Faint polishing scratch to the larger lens on the right side, not visible when in use. Very slight haze at the outer edge of the lens; it does not interfere with the use but could use a professional cleaning. Tested in the field, very clear, mounted on a tripod and used to view moon, craters, and details very sharp - daytime use very sharp field of view - a great pair of binoculars.  Condition case: The case is in very good condition with lots of life left in the leather. Please examine photos carefully for condition.
